Hey Dylan
Congrats on "The Lie" (one of my favorites) to appear on this "Revolutions" CD.
I'll make sure here in California my friends buy it when it gets released!
When I saw Jinx Titanic here in LA a couple of months ago, I was homesick for Chicago. John told me about the Gay Games and all.
Oh well. Hope to see you here in LA in 2007. All the best

You're a talented artist and I'm very glad I was able to see you perform at market days, even if it was in the rain! I just wish my boyfriend and I could have stayed for more--we're definitely going to hit your next show!

I met you at Taste of Chicago Saturday and am a fan for life! Your music is soulful and peaceful.
I hope to hear more great things about you in the future.
(Sorry that I'm a 48 year old lady from Iowa, but I'm 22 at heart and know great music when I hear it!)

Hey, Dylan
Sometimes I miss Chicago, like seeing you perform, but with the nice weather here in LA, well, I miss it less. Anyhoo, found out you're going to play at Pride Fest in June. That's so cool. I guess I'll have to come and see you play. And BTW, I still listen to your CD at least once a week. All the best and hope to see you in June.

Hey, thanks for listening! Do I dare press my luck and make another sugestion...? Well, here goes nothing: You should post the lyrics to your songs on this website. I love singing along with my favorite albums, but sometimes I have trouble deciphering some words. Putting the lyrics here would help greatly. It's okay if you don't post them, though. Keep up the great singing! Peace.

Saw your show at Uncommon Ground last night (11 March 2006) and it was great, if too short. So glad you had one when I was in town and could see it, (and really glad you had the calendar up so early so I could arrange to fly out the next day!).

I'm going into the studio this month to begin working on the next CD. A lot of exciting new songs. The band is really chomping at the bit to get these songs finally realized into a recording. Can't say a specific release date yet, but cross your fingers for something by the end of 2006!

Hey, Dylan
This David, Marc Moder's friend from Borders. Just a quick note to say Hi!
Since I moved to LA this past summer, I can't come and see you. Still, I listen to your CD tons. Plus I play it for friends here.
Always waiting to hear when the next CD will be coming out.

Greets, Dylan!
I discovered your album on CDBaby recently and it has been in my cd-player since it arrived on my doorstep. You have one of the most strong and beautiful voices I have ever heard, and your words strike genuine and sincere tones. I share some of the memories and many of the emotions that you bravely bear to your audience on the CD.
I'm glad you made your way all the way to my place in Seattle on polycarbonate plastic. If you ever make it out to the Northwest (again?) I'll definitely find my way to your show.
Truly - Matty

Hey Dylan,
Ever since I moved out of Chicago, I've been so sad that I can't come see your shows anymore! Any plans to come play in VA or DC anytime soon? Also, I was wondering if you were going to put "Little Bangkok" on your next CD-- it's my favorite.
Representing your Southern fanbase,

Seen and heard for the first time, July 30th, Navy Pier. Loved your singing! We're from Cedar Rapids Iowa and was checking the website to see you had ever booked in Iowa. Looking forward to hearing you and your band again. We plan to visit Chicago again next year. Thank you for a wonderful after noon at the Navy Pier! (we were the middle age couple, mid fortys, sitting up front just to your right, under the tree, for the first 2 sets just in case you might of remembered. Wife had blonde hair, pinned back)

The four of us saw you at Navy Pier today and thought you were great! Any plans to play in Kansas City or Cleveland? Guitar work and vocals were outstanding.

Hi, Dylan...I saw you when you opened for Charlotte Martin in Chicago...wow, I was impressed! You have a great sound and a terrific voice. You should come play in Jonesboro, AR sometime, we have a few little local venues and sometimes local artists or indie artists perform in our local Hastings. Hope to hear you again!

WOW!!!, such a big honor for you, Dylan. Congrats on the award. And you do deserve a whole bunch of praise.
I still listen to this CD a couple times a week (yes, a week). I'm still planning -when I can -to see you play again (don't want to look like a stalker).
Keep up the great music and may all your hopes come.

It was nice to see you at Borders when Eric was playing. I'm glad I came and checked out where you'll be playing. Friday the 15th may be tax day -and somehow I owe - but I'll be there to see you. I'm glad Marc told me to listen to you. He knows what I like.

Its Intangible
Out of the depths of my happy heart wells a great tide of love and prayer for this priceless treasure that is confided to my life-long keeping.
You cannot see its intangible waves as they flow towards you, darling, but in these lines you will hear, as it were, the distant beating of the surf.

Thanks Pete - you're the first guest!
Lyrics to some of the songs have been added to the 'music' page. Just click on the song title to see the lyrics.
I love the West Coast and miss my friends there dearly. Expect to see me out there sometime in 2005 (don't have specifics yet). I'll keep you posted!

Dylan,
I'd love to be able to read your lyrics. You could expand your site here with an extra page for lyrics.
Sacramento is lucky enough to have another Chicago performer playing here - LP. She's playing Harlow's, opening for Camper Van Beethoven. So when are you getting out west?
